Fantastic hot bar meals!

I ordered some hot bar meals for dinner last week and they were incredible! The chicken and sides were so fresh and tasty. Pickup was super quick, and the staff were really efficient. Definitely my new go-to for easy weeknight dinners. Can't wait to try more next time!

Detailed grocery run

I recently used Giant Food Stores for a large online order that included a mix of fresh items like salmon fillets and organic vegetables, along with pantry staples like coffee beans and pasta sauce. The ordering process on their website was straightforward; I found everything I needed easily. Delivery took 4 days to reach my home in rural Pennsylvania, which was within the expected timeframe. All items were well-packaged, and the frozen goods arrived still frozen. The salmon was fresh, and the vegetables looked great. I had a question about a substitute item, and their customer service was quick to respond via chat, clarifying the change. It's a reliable option for stocking up without going to the store.

Always reliable groceries

I've been ordering my groceries from Giant Food Stores online for a while now, probably over a year. My last order, which included fresh produce and some rotisserie chicken, was just as good as previous ones. The quality of the fruits and vegetables is consistently high, and the delivery is always on time. It's why I keep coming back.

Got my stuff, no big fuss

So I needed to grab some cat food and laundry detergent, usual stuff. Decided to just order it online from Giant. It was pretty easy to find everything on their site. They delivered it right to my door a couple days later, no drama. Everything was there, nothing broken. Made my life a little simpler, which is always a win.

Good selection, minor delivery issue

I placed an order for various items, including ground beef, frozen pizza, and some paper towels. The selection online was great, and everything I wanted was in stock. Delivery was mostly smooth, but the driver was about 20 minutes past the estimated window, which was a little inconvenient. The quality of the products was good, especially the meat. Overall, a solid experience, but they could tighten up delivery times a bit.

Anyone know if Giant's digital coupons stack with paper coupons? Trying to maximize savings here lol.

A Alex Marsh 2 months ago
I've had luck stacking manufacturer paper coupons with Giant's digital ones before, but it's not always guaranteed. Store coupons usually don't stack with other store coupons, but manufacturer ones are different. Worth a shot!

digital coupons are usually tied to your rewards card so they apply automatically. paper ones you hand over at checkout. i think they generally stack but sometimes the system gets weird. ymmv.

what's the deal with their return policy? like if i get some bad produce or something, is it a pain to return?

C Colin N. 1 month ago
Nah, returns are usually pretty easy. Just bring your receipt and the item, and they're usually good about it, especially for produce. I returned some squishy berries once, no questions asked.

Is Giant Food Stores any good compared to, say, Wegmans or ShopRite? Trying to decide where to do my big shop.

T Tara N. 2 months ago
Giant is solid, especially for everyday stuff and good deals. Wegmans has more fancy prepared foods, but Giant's prices are usually better for staples. ShopRite is probably closer in pricing but Giant's digital coupons are pretty good.

wegmans is fancier, shoprite is okay. giant's definitely got better deals on sale items and their gas rewards are awesome if you drive a lot.

wondering if giant does free delivery for first-timers? saw something about it but want to make sure it's not just a limited thing.

D Dan Kaur 1 month ago
Yup, they usually have a free delivery offer for new customers. I got it when I signed up a few months ago. Just make sure to look for a promo code or check their site for the details.

i think it depends on the total amount of your order too, like above $30 or something? always check the fine print.

Hey, thinking of trying out Giant for my weekly groceries. How does their pickup work? Do they bring it out to your car or do you have to go in?

W Wendy Patel 1 month ago
They bring it right to your car! Super easy. You just park in the designated spots and call the number on the sign, or sometimes they'll even see you pull up.
